ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a Junior Planner & Cost Controller to join an international Oil & Gas engineering project based in New Cairo, Egypt.

The opportunity is intended for an Egyptian professional with approximately 2–3 years of experience in Planning, Cost Control, Project Controls or similar roles, preferably gained within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, Engineering or Construction sectors.

The selected candidate will support the Project Services / Project Controls team in activities related to project planning, progress monitoring, cost control, reporting and project performance analysis.

The resource will contribute to the preparation and updating of project schedules, monitoring of actual progress against planned activities, collection and analysis of project data, cost monitoring and preparation of periodic reports to support project management.

• Position: Junior Planner & Cost Controller;

• Location: New Cairo, Egypt, with possible smart working according to business needs;

• Expected Starting Date: 01/11/2026;

• Duration: approximately 2.5 months, until 15/01/2027, with high possibility of extension according to business needs;

• Working Schedule: up to 8 hours/day, up to 5 days/week;

• Rotation: N/A – Resident position;

• Contract: Consultant Agreement with ISS International S.p.A., Rome, Italy;

• Rate: EUR 93 per worked day, all-inclusive.

The main activities may include:

• preparation and updating of project schedules;

• progress monitoring and analysis of planned versus actual activities;

• support in cost control, budgeting and forecasting activities;

• collection, validation and analysis of project data;

• preparation of periodic reports and dashboards;

• monitoring of project performance indicators;

• coordination with project disciplines for planning, cost and reporting purposes.

Candidates should have a Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.

Previous professional experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, Microsoft Excel, project reporting, cost control, forecasting, budgeting or progress measurement will be considered particularly relevant.

Previous experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy or Engineering projects will be considered a strong advantage.

Candidates must be Egyptian nationals and have professional working proficiency in English, which will be assessed during the selection process.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with project schedules, costs, reports and multidisciplinary teams.
