Electrical Engineer Milano

Electrical Engineer for a major Oil & Gas project in Milan area. Power systems, vendor docs, FAT/SAT and hazardous area experience required.

ISS International S.p.A. is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join an important Oil & Gas development project based in the Milan area, Italy.

The selected professional will support the review and coordination of electrical engineering activities related to power distribution systems and electrical equipment for Oil & Gas facilities, from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, and operational support.

The role requires solid technical knowledge of LV/MV/HV systems, electrical equipment, hazardous area requirements, vendor documentation review, and multidisciplinary coordination in complex project environments.

Main Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • At least 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer after graduation

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering for Oil & Gas facilities

  • Good knowledge of power distribution systems, SLDs, load lists, cable schedules, grounding and lighting layouts

  • Experience in review of transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, batteries, and motors

  • Familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA, ATEX standards

  • Experience in vendor document review, technical specifications, MRs and TBEs

  • Exposure to FATs, SATs, installation follow-up, and pre-commissioning activities

  • Good command of English

Job Details

  • Location: Milan area, Italy

  • Start date: April 2026

  • Duration: 1 year, renewable

  • Working schedule: 8 hours/day – 5 days/week

  • Work mode: full time, on site

  • Accommodation and logistics: not provided
